Qualifications

• Independently and successfully diagnose and repair equipment.
• Overhaul engines and other major components.
• Previous experience working on heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engines.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Knowledge of electronics.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of shop equipment; inventory of painting supplies.
• Prepare equipment including lubrication and maintenance; apply finish to restored parts.
• Inspect machine for structural damage; cost estimates; review damage reports; repair minor body damage.
• Attends to refinishing stage with proper safety precautions.
