Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Level 1 Technician for its TA Truck Service team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy‑duty trucks and trailers at locations across the country, delivering professional service to customers.

You will work with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment, uphold safety standards, and have access to training and advancement opportunities through company programs.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to provide accurate, efficient service.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers in coordination with TSA or Manager.
• Complete repairs within capabilities and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
