Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to join our Madison campus with relocation support. You will lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, and act as the first contact for staff.

From instructional design to developing materials and delivering sessions, you will shape experiences as teams collaborate to improve Epic software. Travel 25–60% is required, with typical trips lasting 2–4 days; relocation costs are reimbursed, and a comprehensive benefits package is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.
• Experience in education, teaching, or performance preferred.
• Proven track record of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with 1–2 trips per month lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, as well as staff.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Involve yourself in training from start to finish—instructional design, material development, and delivery.
• Collaborate with organizations to design workflow-based training content and help make our software more intuitive.
• Occasionally perform on stage or in a classroom setting to educate and engage learners.
