Qualifications

• Healthcare, administrative, customer service, call center, or related experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive tasks
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new healthcare systems and software
• Ability to accurately document information and follow established procedures
• Ability to work independently and recognize when escalation is necessary
• Strong professionalism and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare, health administration, business, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned STAT, Critical Findings, imaging, and clinical follow-up worklists and tracking systems.
• Make outbound calls to healthcare patients, facilities, and referring providers to confirm receipt of reports and clinical information.
• Document calls, contacts, follow-up actions, report receipt, and resolution status accurately.
• Coordinate re-faxing or resending of reports when necessary and document completed follow-up.
• Monitor outstanding items through completion and elevate unresolved issues according to established procedures.
• Review information in electronic health records and other healthcare systems to support accurate tracking and follow-up.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, comply with HIPAA, and company procedures.
