Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or Procurement is required.
• Entry level buyer role prefers some purchasing experience in healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal and vendor communication skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, processes, and/or approves requisitions and payment requests to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory laws.
• Ensure all orders are processed and acknowledged by the vendor utilizing system tools and other resources.
• Communicates with the appropriate party(s) to resolve pricing discrepancies, back orders, and product discontinuations.
• Verifies order delivery and coordinates with end users and MM Department.
• Coordinates with AP Department to resolve vendor matches and duplicate shipments.
• Functions as Customer Service Representative for end user requests (phone and email).
• Uses problem solving skills to suggest process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
