Job summary

Datavant in Miami, FL is seeking an entry level ROI associate to process all medical record requests efficiently while ensuring HIPAA compliance and protecting patient privacy. The role includes assisting walk-ins, handling phone support, and managing mail and faxed requests.

You will document information across systems, create digital records, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Datavant provides training, company equipment, and comprehensive benefits to support your success.

Qualifications

• Familiar with HIPAA and ROI concepts.
• Knowledge of ROI processes and patient data handling.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with basic tech tools.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and policies.
• Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes.
• Assist with additional work duties as required.
• Safeguard patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare new patient charts and gather documents.
• Ensure medical records are complete and properly organized.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
