Qualifications

• Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations preferred.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred (acute care HIM experience).

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis and reanalysis of records accurately and timely.
• Follow up with departments for missing documentation.
• Communicates missing documentation to providers and ensures coding readiness.
• Maintains deficiency management by documenting workflow and assigning deficiencies.
• Manages work queues to ensure timely chart completion and analysis.
