Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton in Lancaster, PA is seeking an entry-level Associate Technician to assist seasoned technicians and engineers with hands-on fabrication and testing of hardware in the laboratory. A mentor will train you to use equipment and gradually work independently.

Responsibilities include learning machining, soldering, brazing, welding, leak testing with a helium mass spectrometer, wiring heaters, and interpreting drawings per GD&T.

Qualifications

• 2 year technical degree from an accredited trade school, college or university.
• Fundamental fabrication and lab testing skills with an emphasis on safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers with hands-on fabrication and testing of hardware.
• Learn to interpret drawings and GD&T per ANSI/ASME Y14.5M-1994.
• Set up tests, document results, and support first article inspection processes.
