Job summary

Barrett Financial Group is seeking an entry-level Government Team Specialist in Chandler, AZ to support loan officers and processors on FHA, VA and USDA programs. You will handle agency tasks, verify information, and track status with training provided.

You will work with team members to process VA orders, review data, and maintain audit-ready records while learning agency systems and portals.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• No mortgage experience required; training is provided.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures, checklists and established workflows.
• Comfort learning loan origination systems, lender portals and government systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and complete requests.

Responsibilities

• Process VA appraisal orders and COE requests using established procedures and checklists.
• Monitor open requests, resolve missing information and provide status updates.
• Review data for FHA/VA/USDA files and help prevent delays in the file.
• Run GUS for USDA files and report findings to the loan operations team.
• Maintain audit-ready records with complete notes and documents.
• Communicate progress and blockers to team members promptly.
