Job summary

Lanteris Space LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, seeks an entry-level Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer to support our Palo Alto, CA team. You will work with senior engineers to design, analyze, and test GNC features for spacecraft missions and orbital analysis.

Responsibilities include assisting with attitude control performance analyses, developing MATLAB/Simulink models, and creating test procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace (Space), Astronautics, Mechanical (Dynamics), Electrical (Controls), Physics (Astrodynamics, Orbits), Applied Math or related field.
• 2 years of related industry experience, or a Master's degree.
• Academic background in GNC, controls, or orbital mechanics.
• Demonstrated interest in spacecraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis of spacecraft attitude control system performance.
• Support simulation and modeling of GNC algorithms.
• Analyze telemetry data from on-orbit spacecraft.
• Support development of GNC flight software components.
• Assist with MATLAB/Simulink model development and validation.
• Create technical documentation and analysis reports.
• Develop test scripts and automation tools.
• Help prepare test procedures and data analysis scripts.
