Job summary

Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) is seeking an entry-level Environmental Scientist or Geologist to support field assessment work and remediation activities from the Cromwell, CT office.

You will collect groundwater, surface water, soil, sediment, and air samples and help develop strategies for environmental protection in collaboration with licensed professionals. The role includes preparing technical reports for local, state, and federal agencies, working under supervision with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, or related earth sciences.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and collect soil, water, and air samples.
• Utilize field sampling and monitoring equipment to ensure quality.
• Assist in preparing environmental assessment and regulatory compliance reports.
• Analyze laboratory and field data using software tools.
• Support senior staff in remediation planning and environmental management.
• Work with Project Manager and team in planning and execution.
