Job summary

Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) is seeking a detail-oriented Junior to Mid-level Engineer for their Cromwell, CT office. The role involves performing engineering calculations and data evaluations, coordinating field tasks, and collaborating in a safety-conscious environment.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3–5 years of environmental consulting experience. GES offers a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related environmental consulting experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer registration is a plus.
• Stormwater or civil engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundwater and vapor treatment system engineering calculations.
• Develop and coordinate subcontractor scopes of work.
• Assist with cost estimates and support proposal efforts.
• Perform field work including remedial system operation and maintenance.
• Travel within the Northeast region for field work as necessary.
