Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Generator Technician to join our team in Mount Pleasant, SC. This field-based role requires mechanical and electrical repair experience with small engines, standby generators, or ATS.

Coverage involves local travel with a company vehicle, performing full installs, and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical components. Safety and customer communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of generator electrical work experience required.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Comfortable working in the field with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehicle.
• Perform complete install on whole-home standby generators.
• Troubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical components, including ATS systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Clearly communicate with customers regarding services performed and any recommendations.
• Accurately document all work in our service management software.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices when working around electricity.
• Support emergency service calls during weather-related outages or storms, as needed.
