Mesa Natural Gas Solutions LLC is seeking a Shop Tech to join our maintenance team in a dynamic, hands-on environment. You will assist with inspections, load testing, and wiring changes on natural gas engines and generators, gaining experience across multiple mechanical trades.

The role emphasizes reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently under supervision while contributing to a busy shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school or college program in Automotive/Diesel/NG preferred.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience required; veterans preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections and modifications to natural gas engines and generators.
• Perform load testing to identify potential issues.
• Make electrical and mechanical wiring changes to control circuits.
• Check batteries, fuel, coolant, and oil; ship oil samples for analysis.
• Document work and report concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Assist with inventory management and parts replacement.
