Job summary

Kawasaki Motors Retail Finance (KMRF) seeks a motivated Funder I to join our Irving, TX team. This entry-level role supports the funding process by reviewing documentation, ensuring completeness, and assisting with timely loan processing under supervision.

You will work with Credit Analysts and Dealer Partners and use LOS to ensure proper collateral documentation, accurate records, and excellent customer service in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• Mandatory experience in funding or related financial services.
• Minimum 3 years of experience recommended.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work on-site in Irving, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage the funding process for approved loan applications, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds to dealers.
• Coordinate with Credit Analysts and Dealer Partners to resolve discrepancies and obtain additional information when necessary.
• Verify and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough reviews of all collateral supporting documentation for accuracy to ensure proper collateral perfection.
• Utilize Loan Origination Systems (LOS) to process and manage funding transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all funding transactions and documentation.
• Review multiple documentation requests simultaneously.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to dealers and customers regarding funding questions and concerns.
