ASSYST, Inc. is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer (Entry Level) to join our engineering team in Sterling, VA. This onsite role offers hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications in an Agile environment.

As an entry‑level developer, you will build front‑end and back‑end components, write clean code, work with SQL databases, and participate in code reviews, testing, and solution design while collaborating with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams. U.S.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of software development experience through internships, academic/personal projects, bootcamps, or early-career roles.
• Knowledge of Java or .NET (C#), along with exposure to Python and Node.js.
• Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL) and version control (Git).
• Proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and eagerness to learn full-stack development.
• Clearance requirement: US Citizenship with eligibility to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications across both front-end and back-end systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code and build reusable application components and APIs.
• Work with relational databases, including writing SQL queries and data modeling.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and solution design.
