Job summary

Actalent is seeking a motivated Liquid Fuels Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, inspection, and repair of fuel system infrastructure in Honolulu, HI. The role targets candidates with 0-2 years of experience and emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service on interisland projects.

You'll work with project teams, facility personnel, and subcontractors, traveling to sites as needed and maintaining accurate field logs and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years in maintenance, mechanical, construction, industrial, military, or related field.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Read and follow technical instructions, drawings, and specs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for reports and documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance, repair, inspection, and minor construction projects involving fuel systems.
• Follow safety procedures and support site health and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, facility reps, and subcontractors.
• Participate in daily field meetings and communicate updates.
• Support quality control and ensure work meets specs.
• Maintain daily field logs, reports, and photos of work.
• Identify and resolve basic equipment or system issues.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and regulatory standards.
• Travel to project sites as required.
