Actalent seeks a Liquid Fuels Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, inspection, and repair of fuel system infrastructure. Ideal for candidates with 0-2 years of experience aiming to grow skills in fuel systems maintenance, construction support, and field operations.

Travel to interisland airports is required, with background clearances for airport facilities. This is a contract-to-hire role based in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years’ maintenance, mechanical, construction, industrial, military, or related technical experience.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.

Responsabilités

• Assist with maintenance, repair, inspection, and minor construction projects involving fuel systems.
• Follow established safety procedures and support site health and safety compliance requirements.
• Work with project managers, facility representatives, and subcontractors to complete assigned tasks.
• Participate in daily field meetings and communicate project updates as needed.
• Support quality control activities and ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily field logs, reports, and photographic documentation of completed work.
• Assist in identifying and resolving basic equipment or system issues.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Travel to project sites as required.
