Job summary

Shaw’s and Star Market in Maine is hiring a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will scan items, bag groceries, answer questions, and help complete purchases with friendly, efficient service.

Keep the front-end area organized while rotating between transactions, cart collection, restocking, and maintaining the checkout area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ per local/state requirements).
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions, collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain checkout area.
