Job summary

ACME Markets, Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to support a smooth checkout experience. You will scan items, process payments, bag groceries, and help customers with questions while keeping the front-end area organized and efficient.

Responsibilities include collecting carts, restocking, and maintaining checkout flow in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy, and adaptability during varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Scan items and process purchases at checkout
• Bag groceries and assist customers with transactions
• Answer questions and provide friendly, efficient service
• Collect carts and maintain a clean, organized front-end area
