Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. seeks an attentive Front-End Team Member to deliver a positive checkout experience and assist customers with purchases. You will operate the register, bag items, and ensure the front-end area remains clean and organized throughout shifts.

Role requires basic math, strong communication, and a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service is helpful but not required, with opportunities for growth within the store

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and answer customer questions.
• Keep the front end organized, clean, and running smoothly.
• Handle transactions accurately across cash, card, and digital payments.
• Restock supplies, collect carts, and maintain checkout area.
