Job summary

Safeway in Canby, Oregon seeks a Front-End Team Member to deliver a smooth checkout experience. You will process purchases, handle various payment types, and keep the front area clean and organized throughout busy shifts.

You’ll also assist customers, bag groceries, restock supplies, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while following store policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training on hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions accurately (cash, card, digital payments)
• Assist customers at checkout with friendly service
