Job summary

Cox Automotive in Kansas City, MO is seeking a skilled forklift/loader operator to safely load, unload and move vehicles around the auction lot. You will verify stock numbers and vehicle information on the spot and coordinate with teams to position vehicles for inventory staging or sale.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and reliable safety practices. Hourly pay ranges from $15.10 to $22.69 and includes standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or less than 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload and maneuver forklift/loader with 18-foot forks.
• Verify stock numbers on the lot and cross-check vehicle information.
• Move vehicles to inventory staging, sale stalls, or storage as directed.
• Operate tow truck, service vehicle, gas truck and forklift as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on tow truck and loader.
• Run reports to move vehicles into the sale TRA area.
• Assist in towing and supporting other lot operations as required.
