Job summary

Cox is seeking a versatile Lot Specialist in the Kansas City area to load and move vehicles using forklifts and tow equipment. You will verify stock numbers on-screen with the actual vehicle, relocate cars to staging areas, and assist with inspections and transport.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or under 2 years related experience.
• Safe drivers required; valid driver's license must be held.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, rearrange, and maneuver forklift/loader with 18-foot forks.
• Read stock numbers on screen and verify with the vehicle before loading.
• Move vehicles to inventory staging, sale stalls, or storage as directed.
• Operate tow truck, service vehicle, gas truck and forklift on the lot.
• Move vehicles into garage or sheltered areas for inspections or repairs.
• Load vehicles on transports for off-lot delivery.
• Scans vehicles with the TC75 and reports location data.
• Provide towing and jump-start assistance as requested.
