Job summary

PFSbrands is seeking an entry-level Non-Branded Business Developer to grow presence with non-branded accounts and identify branded opportunities in convenience, grocery, and foodservice channels. The role involves prospecting, closing, CRM updates, and attending food shows with travel up to 50-75% of the time.

Ideal candidates are coachable, possess strong communication skills, and can build relationships with distributors and retailers while supporting company growth goals.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of sales experience; foodservice, grocery, c-store, or related retail experience preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred, but not required; recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Coachable self-starter with the drive to learn non-branded and Private Label programs quickly
• Sales-oriented, with a personable demeanor and a natural ability to build rapport
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with owners to hourly employees
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Develop and close non-branded program opportunities with wholesale and distribution partners
• Place products into chain accounts and independent stores not currently doing business with PFSbrands
• Maintain an organized pipeline and move leads through the sales process to close
• Identify larger Franchise, License, and Private Label opportunities and engage teammates to close
• Visit accounts, cross-sell, and expand store locations for long-term profitability
• Log daily activities in CRM and support field-based travel and demos
