Tyson Foods is seeking an entry-level team member for its food safety laboratory in the United States. The role involves performing a variety of chemistry, analytical, microbiological, or quality system procedures with emphasis on precision and data collection.

Training is provided, and team members may rotate shifts and cross-train as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma (chemistry/microbiology degree preferred) and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college-level courses or degree in chemistry, microbiology, or related science preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience or technical training in a related field preferred.
• Good reading, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and LabWare LIMS applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex work instructions and operate sophisticated equipment with minimal supervision.
• Work independently and resolve routine problems.
• Assist in planning, development, modification, validation, and evaluation of testing applications and results.
• Maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements.
• Cross-train and substitute for absent team members when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
