Qualifications

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of one (1) year of college.
• Over one year and up to and including two years of automotive systems and repairs or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major and minor mechanical problems on vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Prepare and submit work orders.
• Maintain records of vehicle use, repairs, and history.
• Lubricate and inspect cooling, fuel, and exhaust systems.
• Maintain inventory of parts and equipment.
