Job summary

Kumho Tire Georgia is hiring an entry‑level Fixed Asset Accountant in Macon, GA. You will support fixed asset and lease accounting, review budgets and purchases, and assist with audits and journal entries. This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate starting a career in corporate finance.

You will gain hands‑on experience with fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, CIP, ROUs, lease liabilities, and monthly close activities within our Planning & Finance team.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of GAAP preferred.
• Interest in learning fixed asset, capital expenditure, and lease accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate fixed asset records and fixed asset ledger information.
• Support Construction-in-Progress (CIP) accounting and monitor capital projects.
• Assist with transferring completed CIP projects into fixed asset accounts.
• Support the capitalization of fixed assets and maintain supporting documentation.
• Process accounting entries for asset disposals and retirements.
• Assist with fixed asset reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
