Job summary

Kumho Tire Georgia is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Planning & Finance team at the Macon, GA facility. The role focuses on processing invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports while offering exposure to broader accounting tasks.

Ideal for a recent accounting/finance graduate or someone starting their accounting career. Prior professional accounting experience is not required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new accounting processes, systems, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices accurately within payment deadlines.
• Verify invoice information and supporting documentation before processing payments.
• Review and process employee expense reports according to company policies.
• Maintain corporate credit card and expense records.
• Communicate with employees to resolve missing documentation or discrepancies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with general ledger activities and 1099 reporting.
• Support audits and government filings as needed.
