Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• High school diploma or equivalent; EMT certification within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to obtain EVIP certificate within the first 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Participate in fire suppression across various scenarios and operate pumps and ladders.
• Lay hose connections, direct water streams, and use firefighting tools to extinguish fires.
• Perform salvage, overhaul, victim search, and rescue operations.
• Provide EMS care and administer medical aid within certification level; complete incident reports.
• Conduct fire prevention inspections and public safety education; participate in drills and training.
