Ogden City Fire Department is hiring entry level Firefighter/AEMT/Paramedic on a 48/96 shift schedule with a salary range of $57,508.43 - $81,852.43 per year. Applicants must attach prerequisites including NFPA FF-1, FF-2, HazMat Awareness and Operations, and EMT/Paramedic credentials.

Education requirement is a high school diploma or GED. New hires must complete NIMS IS100/IS200/IS700/IS800 within three months of hire and maintain fitness standards while serving the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• NFPA Firefighter 1 & 2 preferred.
• Licensed EMT/Paramedic preferred (AEMT/Paramedic).
• National Registry or Utah EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency incidents with assigned company.
• Operate firefighting and EMS equipment and protect life and property.
• Complete required trainings and certifications within set timelines.
• Prepare reports and provide public fire safety information.
