Ogden City Fire Department is seeking entry level Firefighter/AEMT/Paramedic. The position involves responding to a variety of emergency incidents, performing basic life support, and maintaining required certifications.

The role requires teamwork under supervision, adherence to fire and EMS protocols, and ongoing training to meet NFPA standards. Eligible applicants should hold a high school diploma or GED, with EMT/paramedic certifications preferred and NFPA FF-1/FF-2 and HazMat

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EMT/Paramedic certifications preferred
• NFPA FF-1 & FF-2 certifications required/preferred
• UFRA/IFSAC or Pro Board reciprocity certifications encouraged
• Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations certification required/preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency incidents with assigned company.
• Maintain mastery of required pre-requisites and operate within supervision.
• Perform emergency medical care and EMS-related duties.
• Inspect building structures for compliance with fire codes.
• Prepare reports and provide public information on fire prevention.
