Job summary

SIG SAUER is seeking a Service Technician to review, repair, and upgrade firearms returned for service, and to perform standard assembly procedures as directed. You will navigate Oracle and Agile to process work orders and contribute to a safe, compliant work environment on-site.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly in English, have basic Outlook skills, and can work 90% of shifts standing. You will join a team of Service & Repair Technicians, Engineering, and Customer Service to drive

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Entry-level position with typically no prior work experience.
Limited to some level of assembly experience.
Product knowledge of up to 3 platforms.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
Technical skills to lead awareness, nuclear, and HAZMAT training.
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately in English, verbally and in writing.
Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
Must comply with work exposure EH&S training requirements and SIG SAUER security mandates.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for 90+% of the shift.
Ability to lift and/or move tooling, parts containers, and materials up to 40 pounds.
Ability to reach, bend, kneel, grip, pull, turn, and use tools for extended periods.
Proficient fine motor skills and required visual abilities.
Must wear required PPE where required.
Must be available for regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

Review, repair, and upgrade customer firearms returned for service.
Perform standard firearms assembly procedures and repairs according to work instructions and training.
Enter and navigate Oracle and Agile to process work orders.
Tear down and assemble SIG firearms.
Follow department, safety, ISO, EH&S, and security procedures.
Participate in 5S workplace organization and sustainment activities.
Engage in continuous improvement projects and tasks.
Work independently and collaboratively with Service & Repair Technicians, Engineering, and Customer Service.
Communicate problems and corrective actions to supervision.
Work in other functional areas or facilities as business needs require.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
