Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fire protection or related engineering discipline is required.
• 0–2 years of relevant fire protection engineering/consulting experience preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or academic project in fire protection is a plus.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain is preferred.
• NICET certification or related certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Familiarity with NFPA/ICC codes is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for fire protection engineering and life safety projects under supervision.
• Assist with evaluating building fire protection systems and preparing technical documentation.
• Contribute to reports, calculations, and design documents.
• Participate in site visits and field investigations.
• Maintain project documentation according to quality standards.
• Coordinate activities with other engineers and stakeholders.
• Utilize engineering software to support project execution.
