Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an entry-level Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on field observations, data collection, and basic testing under direct supervision, developing foundational skills in construction practices while upholding ECS Core Values.

No prior experience is required; we provide paid training and support for certifications. You will work with contractors and project managers, gain hands-on field exposure, and contribute to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0 years of related experience.
• Obtain basic certifications applicable to the work performed.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, reading comprehension).
• Dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented work ethic.
• Basic math and data entry abilities.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions (developing).

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision.
• Assists with construction materials testing activities on project sites.
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors.
• Assists with preparation and submission of daily field reports.
• Supports basic calculations and data entry related to testing results.
• Assists in organizing and maintaining field equipment.
• Notifies supervisors of damaged or missing equipment.
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned.
