Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking field technicians to sample fresh concrete and perform slump, air, temperature, and cylinder testing, plus verify soil density with a nuclear gauge. Entry level roles are available with comprehensive training and sponsorship for certifications.

You will document results the same day and communicate findings to superintendents on site. The role is outdoors, physically demanding, and involved in real, on-site decision making.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather and terrains.
• ACI Field Grade I and nuclear gauge certification a plus, sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test fresh concrete per ASTM C172, C143, C231, C1064 and C31.
• Run field density and moisture tests per ASTM D6938; prepare clear daily field reports.
• Maintain gauge standardization, cure boxes, and chain of custody; communicate results to superintendents on site.
