Job summary

JLG Industries is seeking an Associate level Service Technician to perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment, under supervision. You will support other technicians in diagnosis and repair while gaining hands-on troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning machines, assisting with inspections, loading/unloading equipment, and keeping the yard organized. A valid driver's license and up to 35 lb lift capability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or Oshkosh contracting experience.
• Valid driver's license must be always maintained.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Clean machines in preparation to be moved into the shop for estimation or repairs.
• Support other technicians in inspection and diagnosis of equipment issues.
• Loading and unloading equipment and maintaining an organized yard area.
• May also be responsible for maintaining and organizing parts and materials processes.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Assist with repairs equipment in order to learn safe work habits and gain knowledge of machine repair, calibration, and adjustments.
