Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power in Bristol, Tennessee is seeking an Apprentice to learn and grow in the compressed air industry. You will work closely with experienced service technicians and the Field Service Manager, gaining hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

The role includes learning to adjust system controls, perform startups, and support two-person field jobs, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; related industry experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements.
• Technical Trade School a plus; Associate degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gaining hands-on experience in the field with Technicians and Field Service Manager.
• Developing skills for PM/basic troubleshooting.
• Understanding service requirements.
• Learning how to adjust controls and do start up.
• Provide additional support on two-person jobs.
• Equipment cleaning.
• Travel to field job sites with Technicians.
