Job summary

Plains is seeking a Pipeliner I, an entry-level field maintenance role performing inspections, maintenance and repairs on pipeline assets under supervision. This field-based position involves open environments, heat and cold, safety gear, and potential callouts for field operations and emergencies.

Responsibilities include upkeep of stations, pipelines and terminals; assisting technicians, reading maps and drawings, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret pipeline maps and drawings.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements.
• Teamwork and clear communication in a field setting.
• Must complete Haz-Mat and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, upkeep and cleaning of station, pipeline and terminal facilities.
• Assists in repairs and supports technicians at the jobsite.
• Installs and operates equipment and reads notices, maps and drawings.
• Performs fire watch and safety monitoring as required.
• Ensures compliance with PHMSA/OSHA regulations.
