Job summary

Holt CAT in Waco, TX is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment. You will use Holt Cat’s digital tools to capture issues and report on equipment performance to maximize uptime.

You will work with the central dispatch team for logistics and communicate with customers to confirm job requirements, location, and timeline, while maintaining a professional service truck and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to one year of field or shop preventive maintenance preferred.
• Valid drivers' license with safe driving record required.
• Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality preventative field maintenance and electronic inspections on equipment.
• Maintains and communicates a field service schedule to deliver a superior customer experience.
• Collaborates with Holt’s central dispatch for logistics and confirms job requirements, location, and timeline.
• Maintains appearance and operation of service truck and adheres to safety policies.
