Job summary

Holt CAT in Waco is seeking an entry level Field Maintenance Technician 1 to perform preventative maintenance and electronic inspections on equipment, using Holt CAT’s digital tools to document issues and coordinate with dispatch and customers to confirm job requirements and timelines.

This role requires strong customer service, punctuality, and the ability to work under supervision while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Up to one year of field or shop maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Class B CDL within 6 months.
• Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals and lubrication charts.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality preventative field maintenance work and electronic inspections on equipment.
• Effectively maintains and communicates a field service schedule to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Collaborate with dispatch team and customers to confirm job requirements, location, and timeline.
• Maintain appearance and operation of service vehicle to present a professional image to Holt customers.
• Work safely at all times and adhere to company safety policies and standards.
• Document field service activities using Holt CAT’s digital tools.
