Job summary

Roux Consulting in Burlington, MA seeks a Staff Geologist / Scientist I to support environmental investigation and remediation projects. You will assist the project team and Project Manager in field activities and data collection, applying sampling techniques and coordinating subcontractors.

The role offers a base salary range of $65,000–$75,000 plus performance bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and PTO. Bachelor’s degree required; 0–2 years experience preferred; strong work ethic and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• 0–2 years of environmental field experience.
• Ability to perform sampling and oversight of subcontractors.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Entry-level data evaluation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team in data tables, soil boring logs, figures and other components of technical reports.
• Provide field support including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling and oversight of subcontractors.
• Assist in calibration of sampling/monitoring equipment and field activities.
• Assist in preparation and review of data and figures for technical reports.
