Job summary

InfoWest is hiring for an entry-level Fiber Construction Technician in Richfield, Utah. You will learn fiber construction, splicing, and tower work under experienced foremen, performing general labor and site maintenance on a daily basis.

This on-site role requires working in all weather, adhering to safety rules, and driving company vehicles when needed. No relocation costs are covered, and CDL is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Physical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with teammates and customers.
Basic familiarity with personal computers and routers.
Willingness to take part in rotational on-call coverage.
Experience using hand and power tools; general construction exposure.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor related to telecommunications construction as directed by foreman or supervisor.
Splice fiber optic cable and install/maintain equipment.
Drive company vehicles and operate field vehicles.
Attend safety meetings; follow OSHA and company safety policies.
Work independently and as part of a team.
