Job summary

Cycle Construction is hiring an Entry-Level Project Coordinator (Field Engineer) to support heavy civil and marine construction projects throughout South Louisiana. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career candidates looking to build a long-term career in construction management, field operations, project support, and estimating.

Project Coordinators support both office and field operations, working alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators from pre-construction

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related program (or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Understanding of construction means and methods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Willingness to work outdoors on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily field coordination, jobsite logistics and documentation.
• Support project managers and superintendents with scheduling and reporting.
• Collect and submit daily job tracking documents (tickets, timesheets, invoices).
• Help ensure work follows project plans, specs, and safety requirements.
• Contribute to quantity takeoffs, bid prep, and subcontractor outreach.
• Participate in project meetings and field inspections; track progress.
