IPG Photonics in Marlborough, MA is seeking an entry-level assembler to prepare fibers for medical surgical products. You will use hand tools and light power tools to process fibers and assist with related tasks in a manufacturing setting.

As an assembler, you will follow work instructions, record activities in the production database, and ensure fibers are prepared for labeling, packaging, and sterilization. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Education: high school or equivalent; vocational schooling preferred.
• No experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and schematics; basic software literacy.

Responsabilités

• Aligns and joins parts into housing using power and hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Follows work order cleaves and tests fiber.
• Adds RFD tag, measures and aligns fiber for laser.
• Sends completed fiber to stock location and records order in production database.
• Retrieves completed fibers from stock for packaging and labeling.
• Sends fiber to sterilizer then to Quality Assurance.
• Solves minor problems and flags bigger issues to supervisor.
