No prior experience is required, with training provided in a manufacturing environment. Work involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 15 lbs, and adherence to safety rules and PPE.

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent; vocational school graduate preferred.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
• Physical: Lift up to 15 lbs; standing, bending, reaching, and walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Aligns and joins parts into housing, modifies, fabricates, and builds equipment and subassemblies using power tools, hand tools, and various soldering equipment.
• Follows instructions on work order cleaves and tests fiber.
• Adds RF D tag, measures and aligns fiber for laser.
• Sends completed fiber to stock location.
• Records order in production database.
• Retrieves completed fibers from stock for packaging and labeling.
• Sends completed fiber to sterilizer then on to Quality Assurance department.
• Solves minor problems and recognizes bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.
