Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an entry-level Feeder/Packer to support carton feeding, packing, and palletizing tasks on the production line in Irvine, CA. You will assist with ensuring quality, following packing instructions, and maintaining safe, clean work areas as part of a busy manufacturing team.

The role requires basic math and reading skills, physical stamina to stand for long periods, and willingness to work multiple shifts in a unionized plant environment.

Qualifications

• HS education or equivalent; basic computer literacy.
• Mechanical aptitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to stand and perform tasks for extended periods; lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Feed or pack cartons and palletize cases according to production directives.
• Inspect quality of cartons and products before stacking.
• Erect corrugated cases and prepare pallets per work instructions and diagrams.
• Review incoming materials to ensure they match production specifications.
• Report discrepancies to crew, leadership or QC; assist with line readiness and lean initiatives.
