Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking a hands-on Handyman in West Hollywood to support maintenance operations for client facilities. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility upkeep, and ensure safe, efficient work in line with HS&E standards.

This entry-level role emphasizes reliable teamwork, basic tool use, and clear communication with managers and customers, with a starting hourly wage of $26.00 to $28.00

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• 0–1 years in facility maintenance or related field.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean MV record (if operating moving vehicles).
• Trade certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow HS&E procedures and maintain safe work practices.
• Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility, including door repairs, light mechanical, plumbing, painting and other laborer tasks as directed by the Manager.
• Assist tradesmen with repair, adjustment, and maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and related equipment.
• Performs and documents maintenance and repairs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Resolves client customer work order requests on the computer-based work order system.
