Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure is seeking a mechanical maintenance technician at our Portland, Oregon facility to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and general plant equipment. You will coordinate with maintenance staff and production crews to keep operations efficient and safe.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical knowledge, and 1–3 years of production maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional technical education and/or training is preferred.
• 1-3 years of production manufacturing maintenance support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to work orders on maintenance applications and perform basic repairs.
• Locate parts or materials needed for repairs.
• Plumbing, lighting, carpentry, concrete and flooring repairs.
• Operate hand tools and plant equipment safely.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production crews.
