Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia in Cobb County, Kennesaw, GA, is hiring an entry level Maintenance Technician to learn and perform a range of trades, including HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep. You’ll work with a team dedicated to supporting behavioral health services and maintaining a safe campus environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting work orders, and ensuring safe, organized shop spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, 21+ years of age.
• 1 year of semi-skilled maintenance/repair experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn trade skills and comply with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and tools; ensure proper storage and efficient use of time/materials.
• Select materials; request additional as needed and document work orders.
• Perform carpentry, electrical, HVAC, painting, plumbing and related maintenance tasks.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with safety regulations; assist with projects.
• Complete training and stay current with certifications.
